INGREDIENTS
½ Cup Philadelphia Cream Cheese
½ Cup Heinz Mayonnaise or Renee’s Lemon Dill Aioli
½ Cup Sour Cream
½ Cup Chopped Dill Pickles “Use your favourite”
½ Cup Chopped Green Onions
¼ Bunch of Fresh Dill Finely Chopped
1 Cup Shred Tex Mex Cheese Blend
1 Bag Nacho Chips “Use your favourite”
Tapatio “Or any Hot Sauce” to Garnish
PREPARATION STEPS
DICE
Dill Pickles into small pieces and finely chop fresh dill.
SLICE
Green Onions on a bias.
HEAT
Philadelphia Cream Cheese, Heinz Mayonnaise or Renee’s Lemon Dill Aioli and Sour Cream together on medium heat in a sauce pot. Do not overheat you just want to incorporate all ingredients together to create the Dip Base.
COMBINE
Diced Dill Pickles, Sliced Green Onions, Finely Chopped Fresh Dill and Tex Mex Cheese Blend into the Dip Base and heat for 2 to 3 minutes to thoroughly mix all ingredients and to melt the cheese into the dip to create the Dill Pickle Dip.
SPREAD
Dill Pickle Dip in a Pyrex or oven Safe Dish and store in the fridge until ready to serve.
PREHEAT
Oven to 375 F
BAKE
Dill Pickle Dip for about 12 to 15 minutes or until dip is hot throughout and browning is achieved.
GARNISH
With a Dill Pickle and serve with Tortilla Chips and Tapatio Hot Sauce “Or any Hot Sauce” on the side. Option is to put 2 oz of Tapatio “Or any Hot Sauce” in the Dip to create a Spicy Canadian Dill Pickle Dip.
